Conditions for The Female Boss
The Entrant will be presumed to have read and comprehended these rules and to agree to be bound by them by participating in the The Female Boss Awards. These regulations cover all guidelines provided as part of the Entry Process.
1. After we receive your completed submission form, Entrant Certificates will be provided through email. Certificates for winners will be emailed, and medals will be mailed. All winners will get trophies in addition to winner certificates through email. Within 30 days of obtaining your results at the online ceremony, a postal notice announcing the national champion for each category will be issued.
2. Anyone who has an interest in the category they are entering in is eligible to participate in the competition, which have relevance to the category they are entering in throughout the United Kingdom.
3. Any entry that the organiser finds improper may be rejected at its sole discretion.
4. Entry forms and any supporting documentation must be postmarked by the deadline. The organiser shall keep supporting documentation for four months following the ceremony date. The closing date for all entries are 26th August 2026, any entries submitted after this date will not be counted. The only exception to this will be those who entered 26th August 2026 before midnight will be given till 10th August to submit their application.
5. Only entries that are submitted using the entry form links and are entirely filled out will be considered. Emailed applications will not be considered.
6. By submitting us video and photographic photos, you give us permission to use them for marketing and promotion on our website and social media channels. Any supporting video proof must be given to us via messages on our Facebook page and Instagram Page.
7. The Organiser reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entry that is damaged, defaced, illegible, incomplete, or otherwise in violation of these terms and conditions. Responsibility for any missing, late, or misplaced entries is expressly disclaimed.
8. The judges' judgement is final in all things pertaining to this competition.
9. There is just one entry fee per person per category, and there will be no additional fees for any of the final phases of the judging process unless there is an event to attend. There is no refund for this one-time payment.
10. Only one trophy will be given to the winners; they won't be required to purchase one. Trophies or prizes that are lost or damaged are not our responsibility. After the winners are revealed, you will have the option to pay for additional trophies if you need them for your house or other team members.
11. The team will get in touch with you using the email and/or phone number you provide on your application form. Only individuals who have entered are contacted by the team. You agree that the team may contact you by filling out the form. Your information won't be shared with or sold to any third parties.
12. The participants and winners will each receive a digital certificate, which they are free to print out and frame. Any pictures of you holding your certificates should be shared. As a result of your abilities being recognised, your business will grow.
13. Payments. Square is used for phone payments, as well as our online store.
14. We'll post a list of everyone who entered on social media. The number of finalists in each category will vary depending on the number of participants and successful shortlisted salons.
15. Winners. After the competition is over, each winner will get a certificate, which will be mailed to a specified address in one to four weeks. On our website, the names of all winners and finalists will be revealed. At addition, we ask that the winners provide us some pictures of themselves posing with the award in their salon for use in salon promotion. On both our website and social media page, all winners will be declared.
16. Award Presentation. We host an awards ceremony on 15th September. The winners will be revealed publicly on both our website and our social media pages. Everyone who enters the awards is required to like our page.
17. Entrances must have experience in chosen categories and provide a copy of their insurance document and qualification.
18. Entrances must have relevant qualifications and business insurance.
Sponsors
1. Agreement Acceptance: By entering into a sponsorship agreement with the Female Boss Awards, hereinafter referred to as "the Awards", sponsors agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Sponsorship Commitment: Sponsors shall provide financial support and/or in-kind services to the Awards in accordance with the agreed sponsorship package.
3. Sponsorship Benefits: The Awards shall provide sponsors with the agreed upon benefits as outlined in the sponsorship package, which may include but are not limited to, brand exposure, logo placement, recognition on promotional materials, and media coverage.
4. Duration of Sponsorship: The sponsorship period shall commence on the date both parties agree and payment has been made and shall continue for a period leading up to the event 26th September 2026 unless otherwise stated.
5. Sponsorship Fee: Sponsors shall pay the agreed sponsorship fee in the manner and within the timeframe specified in the sponsorship agreement. Failure to pay the sponsorship fee as agreed may result in the termination of sponsorship benefits.
Fee is non refundable.
6. Use of Sponsor's Name and Logo: Sponsors grant the Awards the right to use their name and logo in promotional materials related to the event and its marketing activities. Sponsors will provide high-resolution logos and any necessary brand guidelines upon request.
7. Promotional Materials Approval: Sponsors shall have the opportunity to review and approve any promotional materials, including but not limited to press releases, social media posts, and advertisements, featuring their brand before they are published or distributed.
8. Indemnification: Sponsors agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Awards, its organisers, employees, and related parties from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of the sponsor's participation in or association with the Awards.
9. Termination: Either party may terminate this sponsorship agreement by providing written notice to the other party. In the event of termination, the sponsor will not be entitled to any refund or compensation for any payments already made.
10. Amendment: Any changes or modifications to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
11. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Awards are being held.
12. Entire Agreement: These Terms and Conditions, along with the sponsorship agreement, constitute the entire understanding between the sponsor and the Awards relating to the sponsorship and supersedes all prior oral or written understandings or agreements.
13 Sponsors agree to not disclose the identity of The Female Boss until after the first event 26th September 2026.
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the sponsor acknowledges and agrees to comply with all the provisions set forth herein.
Judges
Terms and Conditions for Judges of the Female Boss Awards
1. Eligibility:
a. To be eligible to serve as a judge for the Female Boss Awards, individuals must possess professional expertise and experience in the field of business, leadership, or a relevant area of expertise.
b. Judges must have a fair and unbiased approach towards evaluating nominees and be committed to upholding the integrity of the awards.
2. Confidentiality:
a. Judges must ensure the strict confidentiality of all information shared with them during the evaluation process, including nominee profiles, business data, and any other sensitive information.
b. Judges must not disclose any information about the nominees or their performance to any unauthorised person or entity.
3. Impartiality and Fairness:
a. Judges must evaluate each nominee objectively, basing their decisions solely on merit and relevant criteria.
b. Judges should not have any personal or financial interest in the success or failure of any nominee.
c. Judges are prohibited from accepting gifts, favors, or any other form of inducements from nominees or their representatives.
4. Conflict of Interest:
a. Judges must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that may affect their ability to act impartially in the evaluation process.
b. In case a judge is found to have a conflict of interest with a nominated individual or organisation, they will be disqualified from serving as a judge for that specific award category.
5. Evaluation Process:
a. Judges must carefully review all submitted materials provided for each nominee, including but not limited to, application forms, supporting documents, and any relevant information for assessment.
b. Judges must use the evaluation criteria specified by the organising committee to rate each nominee accurately and fairly.
c. Judges' decisions and evaluations are final and cannot be appealed.
6. Non-Disclosure Agreement:
a. Judges are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), ensuring they will not disclose any confidential information obtained during the evaluation process.
7. Disqualification and Termination:
a. The organizing committee reserves the right to disqualify or terminate the services of any judge found to violate these terms and conditions or engage in unethical conduct during the evaluation process.
b. Judges can also voluntarily withdraw from their judging role by notifying the organizing committee in writing.
8. Intellectual Property:
a. Judges acknowledge that all intellectual property rights related to the awards, including but not limited to the judging process, evaluation criteria, and the award itself, belong exclusively to the organising committee.
9. Amendments:
a. The organising committee reserves the right to make amendments to these terms and conditions, as deemed necessary, without prior notice to the judges.
10 All tickets purchased are non refundable, they can however be re sold, an email must be sent to info@thefemalebossawards.co.uk with the new person name.
11.Judges Brunch tickets are non refundable, however can we resold to other judges, you must email info@thefemalebossawards.co.uk, at least 1 week before the event. Food orders must be in 1 week before event and can not be changed.
By agreeing to serve as a judge for the Female Boss Awards, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions.
Application Process
The Female Boss Awards
-First stage finalist, this means you meet the entry criteria, upon
finalists submitting their proof of qualifications and Business Insurance, finalists will be eligible to be considered by judges.
-Category Judges will review applications, followed by industry judges who will point score finalist.
We believe this is the most fair way to run The Female Boss Awards, point will be tally up, their winners and runner ups and highly recommended.
-Industry will Point Score each applicant in their industry, all figures will be counted and this will determine the winner, second place and 3rd place.
